The Big 94.5 Country Stampede Presented By Verizon Wireless Announces Six Acts to Join Toby Keith, Zac Brown Band, The Band Perry, and Luke Bryan on 2012 Line-up

 

It's no exaggeration that The Big 94.5 Stampede Country Stampede Presented by Verizon Wireless is one of the top entertainment venues in the nation, and today's announcement of six additional acts to an already star studded lineup further proves that fact. Multiplatinum recording artist and country legend Travis Tritt will be performing Friday, June 22nd preceding a performance by previously announced mega-stars Zac Brown Band. They will be joined on Friday's lineup by previously announced  hit recording artist Steve Holy and local favorite Travis Marvin.

 

Saturday, June 23rd features hot new talent and a country music legend all packed into one exciting day. ACM Awards New Artist of the Year semi-finalist and Kansas native Jerrod Niemann will be taking the stage, followed by fellow New Artist of the Year semi-finalist Brantley Gilbert (previously announced), and American Country Awards Artist of the Decade and Billboard's Country Music Artist of the Decade Toby Keith (previously announced). JT Hodges, a third New Artist of the Year semi-finalist, will also be performing on Saturday. Voting for New Artist of the Year nominees lasts until January 30th. Votes can be cast at the Academy of Country Music Awards website.

 

Exciting new acts THE FARM, a genre bending trio of songwriters finding success with their song "Home Sweet Home," and award winning songwriter Lucas Hoge will help kick off the four day event, joining previously announced acts The Cleverlys and Platinum recording artist Luke Bryan on Thursday, June 21st.

 

Popular Christian act Evidence of Journey will kick off the last day followed by previously announced acts Sweethearts of the Rodeo, John Michael Montgomery, and Grammy Awards Best New Artist nominees The Band Perry on Sunday June 24th.
