Deanna Tassoni joined Neste Event Marketing in March of 2011. Her expertise in social media and online marketing has already made her an indispensable asset to the team. After growing up in a suburb of Detroit, MI, Deanna left the Midwest to attend Belmont University in 2006, where she later graduated with a Bachelors (BBA) in Music Business. While at Belmont, she was deeply involved in campus activities; most notably heading up the planning committee for the On The Blvd. Campus Music Festival from 2009-2010. This opportunity provided her with unparalleled experience in event logistics, sponsorship procurement, and culminated in providing four stages of entertainment to over 4,000 people in the Belmont community. Deanna also presided as president of the Student Leadership Council (SLC) from 2007-2009, and had the honor of being awarded with the Robert E. Malone Award of Excellence for her work with the SLC. During her final year at Belmont and post-graduation Deanna continued to gain valuable skills in the Nashville Music Industry while employed as the Membership and Marketing administrator at the Nashville Songwriters Association International (NSAI). During her time at NSAI Deanna was effectively able to integrate her passion for the entertainment industry with her love of social media to develop a highly successful Online Marketing campaign. During the initial program integration, and while working under the direction and guidance from then Communications Director Erin Burr, Deanna’s program increased NSAI’s online visibility by over 400%. Even as the newest addition to Neste Event Marketing; Deanna has already been heavily involved in the Social Media strategy and implementation process for NEM and partner companies. She looks forward to being a strong team-member and working to continuously ensure that Neste Event Marketing, along with its clients, stay on the forefront of social media and inbound marketing opportunities. |
